Java User Reference for Mac Users

Installation and instruction for Mac users

• If you have not already installed the mac version of java plug-in, click
  http://www.mozilla.org/oji/MRJPlugin.html to download it.
  
• Steps for downloading:
  • When you click the link to download the mac version of java plug-in,
    you find yourself in "mozilla.org" site.
  • The title of the site: "MRJ Plugin for Netscape 4.x and Netscape 6 Browsers".
  • Go down the site, pass "Introduction, Using the MRJ Plugin, Security, Limitation",
    you will see "Installation Instructions". Following the 4 steps they listed there.
    1. Click the link "MRJ Plugin" to download it.
    2. Find folder "MRJPlugin" on your desktop, double click on it.
    3. Once the folder is open, move the files "MRJ Plugin (4.x)" and "MRJ Plugin.jar"
       from the "-->Plug-ins" folder in the "Plugin for netscape (4.x) " or "Plugin for netscape 6" folder,
       respectively, to your browser's "Plug-ins" folder.
       (The path for your browser's "Plug-ins" folder should be: Macintosh HD -> Internet ->
       Internet Applications -> Netscape Communication Folder -> Plug-ins)
    4. Test
